The yellow inner cloth (microfiber cloth) allows you to put the pen in the pen case after it has been wiped clean by the action of putting the pen in and taking it out. The cover part of the pen case is made to cover the width of six pens, so you can wipe the pens gently before putting them in the case. The string is called Sanada Himo. The warp and weft threads intersect at right angles, and the weft threads are strongly driven and compressed during weaving, resulting in a durable string with almost no elasticity. This is a traditional string that has been around since the Edo period in Japan. The clasp is made from Hinoki-wood in the shape of bamboo leaf, which is easy to pierce and fasten. A base coat is applied, the shell is pasted on, urushi is applied to cover the thickness of the shell, and the urushi is sharpened to expose the shell.The sides and back are sprinkled with silver powder and painted with transparent urushi.
