The making of the pen case began with the customer's request.

I received a request to custom order a maki-e fountain pen and make a pen sleeve to match it. Makie is a traditional Japanese craft, so I decided to use kimono fabric, which is representative of Japan, for the pen case.

First, we made one for 1 pen. After that, we received requests for multiple pens, and the number of types increased.

It is a pen case that has been made with more than 5 to 6 prototypes to decide on each shape.
